Muchas gracias. |
I want to explain briefly when I have decided to start this blog and why.
First of all I would like to clarify that the only intention of this blog is to write a diary about situations that I find in a country like India everyday, and which I find shocking to my spanish/european lifestyle. I would like it to be entertaining and fun, but I would not like to offend anybody. If someone considers any of the articles offensive, I sincerely apologize. This blog is called "Indian Standard" because in this country they are proud about a set of standards called IS (Indian Standard), in the same way that UNE (A Spanish Standard) or ISO (International Standard Organization). These standards are used in all and every one of the technical meetings that I have attended in this country. There are terrible folllowers in the application of these rules, even if it has nothing to do with the point to deal with. Hence we have had very funny incidents related to IS (am I right Terry?), and that is the reason for the title. A few weeks ago I did realize I was getting a lot of pictures about these interesting, funny, or shocking facts for my lifestyle, and I though that sharing with my friends could be a good idea. This is the best way Icould do it, with a blog. I am now at this point. I would only like to request you to share it with your friends, comment, like in facebook, retweets, etc if you think it is entertaining and fun. It is twice as motivating knowing you are there and that you like this blog. Thanks a lot. |

| Today my family has found an amazing fact. The vehicles has decided to use the elephant track. When the elephant has tried to make use of its track, severe jam has happened, or was it there? |
| Moreover the elephant-driver did not wear helmet, hence a policeman has decided to ticket him, just when the elephant track was free. So, a new block, and twenty minutes traffic jam extra. Fortunatelly the elephant driver was experienced, and when the policeman were approaching, he has ask for "thai" using 30 rupies. All has been sorted out in two and a half minutes. The traffic jam was not done by the elephant. |
