La motocicloneta / The motobiketruck

Hoy rizamos el rizo por cortesía de M.Ochoa. No se por donde empezar. Aquí la ITV de Parla tendría mucho trabajo que hacer. Valdría eso de: ¿Es un pajaro? ¿Es un avión? Pues hemos colocado en un chasis de cicloneta un motor y el manillar de una Vespa, el grupo rueda delantero de una Yamaha; y para rematar a un señor con un trapo naranja en la cabeza. Se trata de un prototipo, por ello los acabados aún no son muy finos. Todos los cableados irán debidamente protegidos en la versión definitiva. Si alguién quiere hacerse distribuidor de esta maravilla en Europa, por favor a mi que me deje tranquilo.

Today we will complicate things even further, given by M.Ochoa. I don´t know where is better to start. With this one, Certification Officer would have a lot of work. We can use: Is this a bird? La matricula / The license plate

Ya hablamos de las matrículas en una entrada anterior. Pero no siempre hay a mano un rotulista que la pueda hacer, así que para ese caso lo mejor es una impresora laser y un powerpoint. Un poco de celogordo y a tirar millas.	We have seen license plates in a previous post. But sometimes there is no sign maker available. In this case you can use a laser printer and a powerpoint. A little of tape and done.

Tomar el aire / Get fresh air

¿Qué tal si damos una vuelta por la autovía? Pues una vez más nos encontraremos con situaciones variopintas. Como no hay plazas disponibles sentado, pues nos agarramos bien a la baca, y voilá. El autobus del cole II / The school bus II

Un buen amigo estuvo visitándome estos días y captó esta imagen en sus andares por Kolkata. Complementa muy bien otra entrada anterior. En este caso la ventilación de los pasajeros esta mejor conseguida. Muchas gracias Elias.	A good friend of mine was some days ago staying with me, and in one of his walks he took this image. It is complementary to a previous post. In this case the air ventilation for the passenger is quite good compared with previous one. Thanks Elias.

El Cafe Gijon / The Indian Coffee

El año pasado visitamos este sitio. Podríamos llamarlo el Café Gijón de Kolkata. Aquí se reunen las gentes cultas alrededor de una mesa todos los días a arreglar el país. Como antaño fuera fuente de inspiración el famoso Café Gijón de Madrid. Os dejo también unas fotos del interior. Donde podéis observar varias tertulias alrededor de las mesas. Atención al sombrerete que llevan los camareros. Lo que si es cierto es que tomarte un thai, te, o cafe aquí es muy económico.	Last year we were at this place. We could call it the Kolkata´s Gijon Coffee. Here cultured and well-educated classes are met every day to make chats and talks. In the same way that the well known Cafe Gijón in Madrid was working as source of inspiration. Also I put some inside pictures. Some of the chats are happening and you can see on the photos. Don´t miss the little hat that waiter wore. Actually, having a thai, tea or coffee here is low cost.

Corrupción I / Corruption I

Ahora que la corrupción irrumpe por todos los poros del sistema aquí y allí, no me resisto a poner alguno de los carteles que gastan por aquí para combatirla. Ya os adelanto que no sirve para nada. Aquí la corrupción es mucho peor. Ya he sido testigo de varios casos que se han solventado mediante sobrecitos, incluso en mis carnes.	Nowadays corruption is around us in all the elements of the system. So, I can´t resist to include in this post an advertisement that this country is using to fight against. I want to advice you that it doesn´t work. Here corruption is worse than we know in Western. I have been witness in some cases which were sorted out by mean of "envelopes", even myself.

Como os he dicho en ocasiones, los medios de transporte son sorprendentes. Una vez más construyen sobre la base de una bicicleta un vehículo de tres ruedas multipropósito.	Sometimes I have written about it, transports are incredible in India. Once again using a bicycle to make a three-wheeler multipurpose vehicle.

Las esquinas / The corners

¿Por qué habrán puesto estas imágenes de Dioses en estas esquinas? La respuesta en las siguientes fotografías.	Why did they install these Gods images in the corners? The answer is in the next pictures.

Desgraciadamente aquí escupir es muy muy habitual.	Unfortunatelly spitting is very very usual  over here.

La papelera en Aeropuerto de Kolkata / The recycle bin in Kolkata airport

Una curiosidad sobre como salen las cosas aquí. Se aplica perfectamente la ley de Murphy: "Si algo puede salir mal, saldrá mal". Todas las papeleras del aeropuerto de Kolkata están de esta forma. La pegatina no coincide con los colores de los agujeros. ¿Será un truco para despistar?	We can see how things are going on here. Murphy´s law is applicable: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong". All the recycle bins in Kolkata airport are wrong. The sticker is not matching with the colours in the holes. Could it be a trick for confusing us?
